Help Windham Rebuild after Hurricane Irene
WARF is teaming up to help Windham NY with flood relief resulting from Hurricane Irene. All donations over the coming weeks will go directly to help Windham rebuild. You can help the Windham NY community today with a tax deductible donation.
9/2/11 UPDATE: Our Board of Directors has met to determine the distribution area, and all donations will go to the Windham Ashland Jewitt region. We are currently determining the needs of all residents and businesses by going door-to-door starting today with recovery fact sheets and questionnaire's.
After a thorough assessment donations will go towards:
- Resident's short term, acute needs such as clothing, shelter, and food.
- A reserve for community businesses so that they can rebuild and recover.

About the Windham Area Recreation Foundation
The Windham Area Recreation Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advocate for, develop and enhance outdoor recreational opportunities. This all volunteer foundation is responsible for the organization of the Windham World Cup.
